Hide 1142 is one of a kind, the way every cowhide is. It covers 45 square feet, roughly 4.2 m², and the shape is entirely its own.

A cowhide has no straight edges because nothing straightened it. The outline curves, the markings sit where they sat on the animal, and the hair lies in its own direction.

At this size it anchors a room. It will take a sofa and a coffee table, or sit under a six-seat dining table with room to push the chairs back.

Upkeep is a shake and the occasional airing. Spills come out with neutral soap and warm water, maximum 104°F / 40°C, and the hide should never be soaked or cleaned with anything chemical.
