A cowhide has no straight edges because nothing straightened it. The outline curves, the markings sit where they sat on the animal, and the hair lies in its own direction.

This one is large enough to be the main rug in the room rather than an accent, and the extra width matters most under furniture.

Upkeep is a shake and the occasional airing. Spills come out with neutral soap and warm water, maximum 104°F / 40°C, and the hide should never be soaked or cleaned with anything chemical.
